Hi,
I've been in the healing field for over thirty years.
I have myself had to take the long way home.

Got involved with drugs, self hypnosis and a cult group in the late sixties. TM and another cult in the early seventies. Self help everything throughout the seventies and eighties. Masters degrees in Psychology, Completed Masters degree courses in School Psychology, Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor, Certifications in Hypnotherapy, REIKI, Graduate from recognized healer trainer School, etc.

Much of the seeking stuff produced many good things, yet I realize now that enlightenment/spirituality/presence/God is readily available Now.

As I let go of seeking and let myself fall more and more into trusting presence and it's by products, it more and more began making sense.

Let me tell you this one little cool story of synchronicity.
In the late seventies as I as browsing in a spiritual book store, I brushed against a book that fell on the floor. The Title was The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence. Seemed very interesting, so I purchased it. It was the most inspiring book I had ever read. It emphasized how Brother Lawrence learned how to bring God into every aspect of his Life, and it caused him to be in a constant state of bliss.

Now why did it take me over thirty more years to come full circle to what The Universe was giving me then? How bout my the selfish ego. It's very strong.

Fast forward 20 some years later. Stopped by an interesting looking spiritual book store. Began to turn an audio rack and one the programs feel on the ground. The Title was THE POWER OF NOW by Eckart Tolle. Need I say more.

And since living in, and practicing more presence, I have grown exponentially.

I truly understand now what presence is. I know now what congruency feels like. I see now how letting go produces more healing and growth. I have been helping others heal for over thirty years, and more recently am truly living the life.

Don't get me wrong, we all still a work in progress and like the Universe need to keep expanding.

It's all so true and real.
